I think that the thesaurus is very handy, and a treasure when used correctly. For instance, going out on a projection instead of a limb is not free of error. I do have my favorite Oxford Universal Dictionary however that I frequent, 1933, and it’s lovely. It has pressed leaves and flowers all throughout where the words they press my memories. I say use your experience and things personal to you, it’s much more authentic.
