Hiatus
My arms are jagged whips; a rending embrace.
I kiss warm profanities on cold cheeks.
My yearning is discomfort; fueling malaise.
The bluest skies remind me of pain.
My words are poison; do not heed.
I want to think I’m blindly vain.
It would be simpler; Indeed.
This is an unnecessarily essential need.
