Mortal Limitations
It's time for me to accept my mortal limitations
Nothing I say or do will influence an entire nation
I've been analyzing life like an equation by a mathematician
Hating all the petty things that causes so much division
Becoming a cell mate to my emotions like a felon in a prison
Driving myself crazy because none of this makes any sense
My good friend mentioned he notices that it's consuming me
I care so much about righteousness and justice passionately
Folks feel my angry vibes with each new poem that I create
Won't even try to deny it or make any attempt to even debate
Just so tired of the trails of tears and blood in these streets
At the hands of each other but more so by these police
I have to find a middle ground or I'll never have any inner peace
Nothing I say or do will influence an entire nation
I've been analyzing life like an equation by a mathematician
Hating all the petty things that causes so much division
Becoming a cell mate to my emotions like a felon in a prison
