Infernal dreams Pt. 1

I awoke with a sharp, excruciating pain in my head.
With considerable reluctance, I pry my eyelids apart.
I wonder, “Why am I sprawled on tepid, onyx soil?”
My vision is blurred, fires scattered, dance and flicker.
On the horizon, charred mountainous ranges protrude from the earth.
Embers, dance and flutter through the warm air.
“What is this infernal place?” I think to myself.

As my vision clears, I notice an empty, half gallon bottle.
Just out of my reach. I squint, “Jim Beam, Devil’s Cut?”
I can’t remember anything before this point. Makes sense.
Aghast! Crimson pigments? Gnarly, black claws from each of my fingers?
“Who’s hand?” I slur, “Obviously it’s mine?”
Massaging my temples...My fingers come across...“Aghast!”
Bone? Spikes? Two of them, protruding through my flesh.
Solid, adamantine horns? “What the fuck?” I whisper.
“I must be dreaming” I think to myself.
With reluctant apathy, I climb to my, “feet”?
No? “Gasp” You guessed it, hooves!

“Ok, jokes over! Wake me up”.

In the distance, blood-curdling screams?
Followed by a cacophony of cackles!
I hear the strident sounds, of what appears to be the cracking of whips.
And possibly the gutturals of a chainsaw?

In the distance, a shapely figure appears, leisurely strolling towards me.
Crimson skin, same as mine...but, humanoid feet? Lean, toned calves and thighs.
She is tall, scantily covered, with small black cloths,
with a narrow, hour-glass figure. Defined abs.
A thin, spiked tail, twirled and wagged behind her.
She unleashes and thrusts her bat-like wings, and propels herself into the night sky.
And, drops down in front of me. Narrow, symmetrical facial features.
Long, flowing black hair...horns, like mine...smaller.

A startled look on her exquisite face. Her black eyes narrow, “My lord?!” She questions.
