Letter I Wrote You

I found the letter I wrote you
It brought tears to my eyes
I read it over and over again
Each time I let out a painful sigh

Here's what it says....

"I love you so much
But that you can't see
Knowing you will always pick him
Makes my heart bleed

I cry myself to sleep
Then find that I'm dreaming of you
I hate when this happens
Because it leaves me sad and blue

It sucks that no matter what I do
I can't get you off my mind
But you push me away
I didn't know loving you was a crime

The worst part of all
Is seeing you two kiss
It makes me angry
To know he gets my happiness

But even though my
Feelings are strong
I will leave you alone
And try to move on"

This poem reflected a part of yourself that called to me. As far as I'm concerned any poem that causes readers to relate to it and evoke emotion, is great.

Loving someone who choose another is probably the worst thing to go through when it comes to relationships.

You almost instantly question your self-worth when in fact, the decision that person chose had nothing to do with you, but with them.

I hope that those who have gone through such a horrible experience as depicted in the poem, know that they deserve to be loved by someone that they know will always choose them.

Thank you for your honest response. I know I deserve to be loved by someone who will always choose me. It just sucks waiting for them to come into my life.
