You're Departure
“You’re Departure”
The day you left my life, everything in every way changed,
I was left mystified and found myself deranged,
If you could only see through my eyes the ordeal I went through from your lost,
That I did everything I could to get you back even if my soul was the cost,
My heart began to hurt the minute you walked away,
I started feeling weak inside because you were my strength,
I had no flavor; nothing had meaning,
Everything seemed colorless; I had no feeling,
Without you in my life, I’m only left with half of heart,
Loosing myself in the process by us being apart,
The day my eyes never saw you again they were replaced with tears,
Since your departure, my heart has lived in fear,
When I went through the first day without you everything turned grey,
When I spend the first night without you I almost froze to death,
Each passing day I did not have you in my arms, my body went cold,
And each moment that I wasn’t able to spend with you, I started turning hollow,
My lips went numb not being able to feel your kiss,
An unbearable distress of how much I truly miss,
Time went so slow that an hour felt like a day,
A day felt like week; a year felt like a decade,
For falling in love with you I cursed the day we met,
It took away everything that nothing was left,
I didn’t know what to do; I didn’t know what to say,
That every night in my corner silent tears I shed,
I was taken over by darkness, filled with sadness and disgrace,
Trying so many times to drink your memories away,
That the sky turned dark and all the stars fell,
The grass dried out and I became hell,
The day you left my life, everything in every way changed,
I was left mystified and found myself deranged,
If you could only see through my eyes the ordeal I went through from your lost,
That I did everything I could to get you back even if my soul was the cost,
