The Sky is a Blue Bush

When Moses was in the desert,(an exile from Egypt)
He came upon a bush burning with fire,
But the bush was not consumed,
So he turned aside to marvel at it (Exodus 3.2-10).
Because he did, God spoke to him out of the bush.
Saying, I want you to lead My people in Egypt out of slavery.
Take them to the Promised Land that i will tell you about.

The sky is a blue bush composed of lofty leaves,
Oh what ephemeral foliage the atmosphere is !!
.The stars are buds that open only at night.

The morning sun is a ball of fire rising up,
Filling the heavens with holy light, hot as flame.
But the "bush" of the sky is not consumed.
Moses-like I listen for a voice telling me what I must do.
Is there an enslaved nation for me to liberate?
Or maybe just dogs that are mistreated by neglectful owners?
There are foreign lands where women kept in a state of "arrested development,"
Females kept as perpetual children, never to become full adults.
Meanwhile, teenagers in America are victimized by big business - enslaved to video games.
And then there is Internet porn - oh the bondage !! This nation is full of online slaves !!
Yes, the world needs another Moses, and another.
More Moses types, that's what the world needs.
But we're not getting them, why not ??
Because we're too busy to turn aside and marvel
at the sky as a "burning bush that is not consumed."
