Come my love
Come dearest heart and take my hand,
So shall we skip down to the strand,
And there my darling we will sing,
Of love eternal murmuring.
As by sweet breezes gently fanned,
Our footprints printing in the sand,
Two hearts together will take wing,
United by a wedding ring.
Such lovers there have never been,
Nor such devotion ever seen,
From ocean depths unto the sky
Love so strong it will death defy.
That in the stars was long foreseen,
From when the world was young and green.
And two hearts will together fly,
Never again to say goodbye.
What fun we have each bright new day
As arm in arm we dance and play.
In simple joys such rapture find,
Our happy souls in love entwined.
So come my dear, no more delay,
From this dark vale let's flee away.
All pain and sadness leave behind,
By earthly chains no more confined.
On mountain tops, from cares set free,
Celestial wonders will we see.
Such joy that none would dare dismiss,
Eternal love sealed by a kiss.
For this was ever fate's decree,
A new creation we should be,
Forever one in endless bliss,
No greater love has been than this.
So shall we skip down to the strand,
And there my darling we will sing,
Of love eternal murmuring.
As by sweet breezes gently fanned,
Our footprints printing in the sand,
Two hearts together will take wing,
United by a wedding ring.
Such lovers there have never been,
Nor such devotion ever seen,
From ocean depths unto the sky
Love so strong it will death defy.
That in the stars was long foreseen,
From when the world was young and green.
And two hearts will together fly,
Never again to say goodbye.
What fun we have each bright new day
As arm in arm we dance and play.
In simple joys such rapture find,
Our happy souls in love entwined.
So come my dear, no more delay,
From this dark vale let's flee away.

By earthly chains no more confined.
