Everlasting nothingness

I thought I saw you in the rain,
I thought I heard your familiar cry in the wind,
Thought I saw my sins when the colours loom,
When the star sprinkled night draws in,

It's like a lonely night in my veins,
For my soul, it's time for you to walk,
But before so, something must die,

Shallow eyes and a needle decides,
Is this the last pink sky I shall see before my eyes,
Addiction is a silhouette and every shadow lies in wake of my regret,
People are sandcastles and heroin is the sea,
We will all fall down in time,
It's just a matter of when your time may be,

Condensation steamed up his windows,
He said he wanted my veins for Christmas,
As I lay motionless, numb to the core,
And I'm the thinking.. love is, love is, love is,
Well... It's just around the corner.
