Long Overdue

Damn life's a gamble
whys everything gotta be a struggle
We get dealt hands we dont want
And fold before the flop
like were leaving before our time
why cant we just stop
all this death, hate, and crime?
if I had a dime for every card folded before its time
I'd be known more than death
that would be a refreshing breath,
to take,
something besides lifes
we could have familys with more than just wifes
there would be dads at home too
something some kids never knew
we need to stop all that is bad,
this is long overdue.
