Empty Words

Should I pick you off one by one or should I let you suffer in agony before
If I let you suffer will you promise to scream till your heart is content?
Will you let me go as far as I want to
Or are you afraid that I wont be able to resuscitate you from the brink of death ?
Will you let me play and cut throughout your body once you know my intentions
Is it enough that I say "I want to help make you better"
That "it is a harmless procedure"
That "everything will be okay "
Is that enough  for you to place your trust in a stranger with a certificate
At the end of the day when everything is said and done
That certificate is still a piece of paper with a pretty font.
