Dark vs. Light

 My heart bleeds with the joy you bring.

 You silenced my tears with this symbolic ring.

 You knew of my past, but still you chose,

 you stood at my door with a single rose.

 My wrists have cuts, my soul is scarred,

 but still my love you wouldn't discard.

 You look in my eyes, the darkness is still there,

 but you hug and kiss and show you care.

 My demons threaten and hate you.

 Tehy're locked away and you have no clue.

 They desire your blood, want your life,

 my demons love your pain, love your strife.

 I was an Angel,superior in heaven and power,

 my strength was renown, made the weak cower.

 But I gave it all up because I fell in love.

 I fell, i'm Fallen, never to return above.

 The one I fell for, cast me away,

 threw me out, now I must pay.

 I am curse to be here forever,

 i'm damned to suffer and be happy never.

 I've walked this earth always wanting to die,

 but part of my curse is to only try.

 Then you found me, gave me might.

 I can't give you my soul, yet you give me light.

 I'm Fallen, curse, and damned and forced to lose.

 Yet you came to me, making me your muse.

 How long can this last?
