Kundilini

Tears fell from my eyes
the day the Martian Kundalini died
all my emotions far from surprise
as I found that I held the key to the lies
no heart could ever be heavier than mine
see, I was the one who opened the portal wide
my foolish mind
fed into the hubris that I could heal and revive
as equals in the universe I assured
that surely we deserved to survive
heart burning from the Martians cries
we would descend from the heavens
toward Earth to reside
taking the children as beloved brides
but when I, the Tau Cetian, and the Martians arrived
the Martians sought to conquer
out of deceitful pride
using equations that the Hebrews devised
and I knew these things would come
as I watched and just sighed
while we kindled the flame
and set the water to rise
so slowly it heated
that we didn’t notice it boil
until vaporization nearly completed
and only then did we scream out
“Who Did This??”
we did
how again did we battle ourselves
until we, the children of the atom
divide
and the Kundalini of the earth
burned and tried
strained to keep us together
despite the incessant pressure we’ve applied
but this time

I can keep her alive
and as the rivers flow over my cheeks
