Abuse is Abuse
Emotional and verbal abuse is still abuse
Even tho you can't see the trauma
Pain hidden behind eyes of blue
Like a bruise
That you hide behind long sleeves
Your smile
Saying everything is fine
Torn up inside
The only place to hide
Afraid to speak
Becoming voiceless
Like a whisper lost upon the wind
Numb by words, hurt and regret
Still unable to believe what you've become
But Soon you will over come
Breaking free of that prison
Becoming a broad spectrum prism

True words indeed, it's one of the most prevalent yet least discussed subject in society in my experience so far, none realises how many victims and survivors they come across each day..excellent write indeed as the climax is ending on a positive note not ' a victim's stuffed for ever ' kinda note!!
