I sit in the darkness
Crying myself to sleep
Trying not to feel
Trying to numb the ache
But the pain is to deep
My body feels hollow
As the pain hold me under
It's cold long fingers forcing me to give up
To drown in my sorrow

Why do I keep saying I'm fine
When I feel the opposite
Like I'm dying inside
But I can't say goodbye
