4 a.m. watermelon
Approach me standing in a daze,
trying to remember why I'm yelling,
and remember me to summers with Munchman and clan,
4 a.m. watermelon,
damn I can smell em,
tell em forgive me for just groovin to the tune of the laughter of a couple of choosey tricks,
cause mama knew she was thick,
like the juice that dripped down her chin when she stopped from her chewing to spit,
and my blood ran hot,
beating about as angry as any blood or crips,
but I wear my flag on the inside,
red and blue in the hue but it mixed,
swimming purple in my veins,
so you know the royalty from my views on the throne where I sit,
Listening to the early bird sing her song to the ghost of the sun as the horizon approaches its tip,
See I never knew that as I grew I'd be this,
and all I'd know is that it's too soon to split,
So forgive me for the bullshit that flew from my lips, And know I don't see you,
That it's just me seeing me as I tell myself you isn't shit,
And then approach me standing in a daze trying to remember why I was yelling
trying to remember why I'm yelling,
