Black centerpiece
Black centerpiece; eye of the heart
Kneading each crippled light droplet
Forsaking sight, superseding the dark
Plague-eyed, distant, stale
Melting mental butterflies
All manner of swirls
manically twitching-
Scraping unwell skin
In little flakes
Imprisoning the soul itself
Collapsing state of decay
Strengthens not I, nor embrace
Just leaves the mind without a trace
A flower perks an eyelid
A tower of what lurks beneath
I am emotionally unavailable
A flat lined heart impinged on doom
A jump, or another second of death
All exposed, all flailing
Nothing is real, not the floating body
Not the wretch threatening me
Nor the lobotomy
Nor the lifeless, limbless child
This cannot be reality
Not this sight
To terrible to see.
Kneading each crippled light droplet
Forsaking sight, superseding the dark
Plague-eyed, distant, stale
Melting mental butterflies
All manner of swirls
manically twitching-
Scraping unwell skin
In little flakes
Imprisoning the soul itself
Collapsing state of decay
Strengthens not I, nor embrace
Just leaves the mind without a trace
A flower perks an eyelid
A tower of what lurks beneath

A flat lined heart impinged on doom
A jump, or another second of death
