Innocent Enough, right?
The flame illuminates,
like a smile from the innocent.
So pure. So inviting.
Desperate to reach the euphoria of youth,
you cling to the needle, and vow to never let go.
Heroin Heaven.
Safe beneath the blanket of ignorance,
you believe you've found all the pieces of the puzzle.
When you wedge together the disoriented scraps,
You succumb to the notion that this particular puzzle
has left you missing, longing, for the missing element:
Reality.
You stumble.
You fall.
Pure extacy.
6 feet underground.
You have found the missing piece.
like a smile from the innocent.
So pure. So inviting.
Desperate to reach the euphoria of youth,
you cling to the needle, and vow to never let go.
Heroin Heaven.
Safe beneath the blanket of ignorance,
you believe you've found all the pieces of the puzzle.
When you wedge together the disoriented scraps,
You succumb to the notion that this particular puzzle
has left you missing, longing, for the missing element:
Reality.
You stumble.
You fall.
Pure extacy.
6 feet underground.
You have found the missing piece.
