Adamant
I'll be your rock;
the rock you crash against.
I'll stand strong;
strong enough to bear the raging of your storm.
And I'll be constant;
constant through all your crests and vales.
I'll let you flow around me,
just remember you can drown me.
I'll be your rock;
for what's a rock compared to the beauty of the sea.
And I'll stand strong;
strong while I erode into your majesty.
I'll be your constant;
steadfast and resolute.
And if you flow right past me
all that I ask is that you don't forget me.
And I'll be your rock.
