Carry Me Home

Through the river of raging waters,
across the desert storm,
over a wall of rocky hills,
and through the ravines of nobility
to the place where many dreams lie
under the moon waiting to be granted
and where the sun can set my soul free
won't you take me in your arms,
and carry me there?

Across oceans of treacherous waves,
and into the nights, cold as ice
through bushes of vicious thorns,
and across floors of broken glass,
won't you take me to the place
where a loving heart awaits,
and with a tender touch
of nature's grace?
Embrace me in your arms
and carry me there.

To a place I can call 'home'
in this place, I know I will be safe
no one will ever find me in the light of day
Wherever the sun shines, that's where I'll hide
that's how it's suppose to be
Won't you take me in your arms?
I'm on my begging knees,
carry me home?
