The Weight of our Relationship
The weight of our relationship is crumbling around us.
Life as we know it has turned to dust.
The pain we both carry is suffocating our love.
We are hanging by a thread.
Maybe it is all in our head.
The smiles are now tears.
This has always been our worst fear.
We keep trying.
Trying to make it work without lying.
Right now we need to find hope in something.
The dust is slowly starts to settle.
I cant help but tremble.

I like the poem. there are a few things that could be sharper, 'is crumbling' could be crumbles shortening the sentence making it more punchy. sorry to be so over critical. also life as we know it is a frequently used saying, you could just say 'life is turning'. i mean no disrespect.
