Abandoned

You've long since moved on,
And everyone has pushed
Forward in their lives.
Everyone but me, that is.
I'm still stuck here
Waiting for someone
To come and reassure me
That my time hasn't
Past me by,
And that I still have
A future worth living for.
But I'm all alone here
And the walls are closing in.
If you won't come and save me,
Please tear down the walls
On top me so that
I'm buried and gone.
