Naked Thoughts

She lays awake and yet still asleep,
with thoughts in her head she rather keep.
Lock in her mind are fears and pain.
and love for herself that she can never regain.

A life of solitude is inbound for her.
a life of regret and agony is what she incurs.

A woman in her prime, is now empty and hollow.
All because she choose to lay down pride and swallow...
Her emotions and ideals are now trap in her head.
As she lays with tears in her eyes that stream across her bed.
