Justice To be Served
I remember last fall,
You ripped out my heart.
Right out of my chest,
And tore it apart.
We stood in the forest,
Leaves danced on the path,
We looked at the pond,
The water like glass.
We walked through the woods,
Right up to a hill.
You then took my hand,
Your touch gave me chills.
We walked and we talked,
We laughed and we cried.
But the sun was setting,
We said our goodbyes.
The next few days,
We talked and weŽd text.
I felt like a million bucks,
But what happened next
It broke me down,
It destroyed me whole.
You took out my heart,
And you left me cold.
You told me you loved me,
That I was the one.
I gave you so much,
But you suddenly gave none.
You stopped talking to me,
For six months straight.
It filled me with sadness,
It filled me with hate.
I still have no clue
What on earth that I did.
I asked you a year later,
And you left me again.
You ripped out my heart.
Right out of my chest,
And tore it apart.
We stood in the forest,
Leaves danced on the path,
We looked at the pond,
The water like glass.
We walked through the woods,
Right up to a hill.
You then took my hand,
Your touch gave me chills.
We walked and we talked,
We laughed and we cried.
But the sun was setting,
