We Bless This Land
We search to find the trail
where few men have tread,
The wind blows at our sail,
& the Fates pull @ the threads.
A serpent winds the switch-back path,
While spirits guide the way,
of truth through divine math,
as we listen to what Nature doth say;
We learn exactly what it means
to truly use our will
our bodies & minds are cleaned
& we harness majick skills.
The dragon lives within the land,
It’s voice & power live;
There’s cryptic letters in the sand
& our prayers we freely give.
We ultimately wish for the best,
As the universe gives a shove
We ask for blessings on our quest,
in the light of universal love.
The Path is steep; the Path is hard,
We’ll get sweaty, We’ll get hot.
These wand’ring poets, artists & Bards
Receive those lessons we’ve been taught
We are the tenders of the mountains
& We are the keepers of the hills
We have tapped the sacred fountain,
and washed away all ills.
The portal’s open, so we must enter
Destiny offers us her hand,
But first remember to ground & center,
And follow the teachings of this land
Make a circle, pass it round,
Call upon the power of three;
We bridge the gap between the ground,
and the roots of that ancient tree
These woods are mighty, these woods are old
We look for that missing pond of koi,
Instead we find shining waters of gold,
and a shimmer of happiness & joy.
We heed the Earth’s call, of the impact of Man
Chopping down the forests is taking its toll
It’s not too late to save it ALL. YES, We Can
The dragon’s roar resounds throughout our souls
Nature’s encroached upon by our buildings
And it cries deep within from sorrow,
For we don’t know the power we’re wielding,
& Forget to return that which we borrow.
We struggle for life, no matter the price,
While buzzards glide for a new or old kill
We have crossed the streams of paradise,
& part of our souls reside there still
Yet I’ve heard, “What goes up must come down,”
So we reverse our path & hike down hill
The future king will come to accept his crown
& We learn to follow the one true Will
The Path of Love has been made Wholly One,
Yet we must be cautious & tread it slowly
& as we draw our power from the sun,
We Bless this Land & Make it Holy
