This vision functioned as a mechanism
It telephones a place in life
Before masculinity was a standard, issue or a status to attain
When naivety was understood and aided with knowledge to gain
Before superficial need of vacant sex partners on the brain would remain
A man
Drew breath through puckered lips
I, also a man was moved as a child in this moment
He blew bubbles
This vision provoked profound awakening
Reviving the believer of immeasurable possibilities within
Ignorant of self-hate taught through ideology regarding sin
Unaware of pessimism and its ability to transmit infection to hope
Unsuspecting of the relation he bears to death at the knotting of a rope
Understanding of the unity and the separation of happiness and sorrow
While maintaining the warmest of expectations of tomorrow
Boy and man alike shall do this
