FIRST TIME I EVER
The first time I ever
It left me quite distraught
Two years in boy scouts
You'd think I'd learnt while they taught
How to tie a proper noose
Thankfully(?) it was loose
Always fail, never succeed
Some say my actions are driven by greed
But, if we're born alone and die alone
Then clearly my thoughts are prone
To point towards a shallow cop out
What the fuck does it matter what memory I leave behind
Only 18 and can't cope with the daily grind
I just need to unwind, yet, everythings got me tense
Now I'm lacking motivation
Real emotions I seek evasion
Tell me to chase my dreams and find happiness
Tell me what the fuck I'm suppose to do
When all I have is nightmares?
It left me quite distraught
Two years in boy scouts
You'd think I'd learnt while they taught
How to tie a proper noose
Thankfully(?) it was loose
Always fail, never succeed
Some say my actions are driven by greed
But, if we're born alone and die alone
Then clearly my thoughts are prone
To point towards a shallow cop out
What the fuck does it matter what memory I leave behind
Only 18 and can't cope with the daily grind
I just need to unwind, yet, everythings got me tense
Now I'm lacking motivation
Real emotions I seek evasion
Tell me to chase my dreams and find happiness
Tell me what the fuck I'm suppose to do
When all I have is nightmares?
