Wondeful Days
Trees rustling
Bikes ringing
Kids playing
A day worth watching
The neighbours mowing
And I’m sat here
Under the shadows
Of a magnificent palace
Of a million memories
But this memory
Outside of my palace
I’ll treasure the most
Out in this yard
A wonderful place
Managed with passion
Trimmed to perfection
Flowers reaching the sky
Colourful beds
Deserving admiration
As in this weather
Oh so beautiful
They feast on sunlight
Blossom
Into a magnificent rainbow
Filled with delight
God I could sit here
Until I die
Watch the blue skies
Fail to change
And kids kicking the ball
Until the sun sets
A mighty triumph
Joins the rhythm of my heart
In this high point of my life
As I relax in my solace
I will never forget
These long days of summer
Bikes ringing
Kids playing
A day worth watching
The neighbours mowing
And I’m sat here
Under the shadows
Of a magnificent palace
Of a million memories
But this memory
Outside of my palace
I’ll treasure the most
Out in this yard
A wonderful place
Managed with passion
Trimmed to perfection
Flowers reaching the sky
Colourful beds
Deserving admiration
As in this weather
Oh so beautiful
They feast on sunlight
Blossom
Into a magnificent rainbow
Filled with delight
God I could sit here
Until I die
Watch the blue skies
Fail to change
And kids kicking the ball
Until the sun sets
A mighty triumph
Joins the rhythm of my heart
In this high point of my life
As I relax in my solace
I will never forget
These long days of summer
