Riding upon the winds
In times of sacrifice
O Quetzalcoatl
The serpent of the sky
Bring the wisdom to man
So he shall know his place
O Quetzalcoatl
The lord of time and space
When Venus dawns upon the sun
We shall be resurrected
When the storm come to harm
We shall be resurrected
Once again
When Tezcatlipoca shines
The night sky so divine
The snake will find the light
In the jaguar’s eye
When Venus dawns upon the sun
We shall be resurrected
When the storm come to harm
We shall be resurrected
Once again
Upon the monolith
Offering to the sun
O Quetzalcoatl
Your time has begun
And may long be the day
Behold the holy rite
O Quetzalcoatl
Ritual sacrifice
When Venus dawns upon the sun
We shall be resurrected

Once again
When Tezcatlipoca shines

Oh, Devil-lyn, thank you. I am glad someone liked this. I was afraid this story didn't go over too well. Too be honest, I don't know too much about Quetzalcoatl but the Aztec, Mayan and Inca myths always intrigued me. What's not to love about a flying feathered snake and ritual sacrifice?
