The universe inside my head
This universe inside my head
May I not share I could find myself dead
For inside it I may hold a key
But outside it that may not be
Could I truly be this bold
Very easily I could be this old
Would the world perish if my stories untold
Or would nothing even manage to fold
Reality may be able to see through me
But how soon until I can see reality
I could sing a song twice the size
Of the chants of those I do not prize
I don’t want to bargain, plan, or succeed
I don’t want to find myself in a place I bleed
Full intention in life is all I seek
But the place I need to go has never been this bleak
For many shadows destiny may keep me in
For between many mountains the earth shall sweep me in
But beside all that I have to hold or carry
May my word be what really in I shall burry
For nothing is as strong as what binds you
And this may be strong only within you
And to others carry other worlds inside them
Hold yours, your key, and have pride in them
May I not share I could find myself dead
