The Bitter Kiss
I hate it
I hate that I kissed him
I hate that I liked it
I hate how I wanted my lips to belong to him…
I thought he loved me
I thought I loved him
I didn’t want him to leave
I thought I was his
If I noticed the signs
The signs that I missed
We would have never…
Ever kissed
In the cold darkness
Surrounding us both
Terrifying me
He pressed his lips against mine
No longer my own
Scaring me death
I could not stay
Every two minutes
I had to pull away
His saliva sticking to my mouth
I just had the feeling to go away
before things went south
But his breath intoxicating
Pulled me forward
Wanting more..
The bitter kiss…
Left the bitter taste
On my lips
On my tongue
His lips were chapped
His mouth was cold
His tongue tasted sour
The torture that lasted minutes
Felt like hours
I dragged myself away
Leaving him in the dark
Leaving him with my bitter kiss...
I hate that I kissed him
I hate that I liked it
I hate how I wanted my lips to belong to him…
I thought he loved me
I thought I loved him
I didn’t want him to leave
I thought I was his
If I noticed the signs
The signs that I missed
We would have never…
Ever kissed
In the cold darkness
Surrounding us both
Terrifying me
He pressed his lips against mine
No longer my own
Scaring me death
I could not stay
Every two minutes
I had to pull away
His saliva sticking to my mouth
I just had the feeling to go away
before things went south
But his breath intoxicating
Pulled me forward
Wanting more..
The bitter kiss…
Left the bitter taste
On my lips
On my tongue
His lips were chapped
His mouth was cold
His tongue tasted sour
The torture that lasted minutes
Felt like hours
I dragged myself away
Leaving him in the dark
Leaving him with my bitter kiss...
