Captivating
She sang the same song she had all along as her hatchet buried itself within my chest,
As she became one with me, my chaos, her disarray becoming our chaotic mess.
She danced in the same hypnotic fashion that had lured me in as love began,
As our bodies became one form creating our very own moves, the dance floor empty save for us two.
She swam with the grace of a dolphin, creating the shapes I had so long savored,
As I swam to reach her hoping my stride through her waters would somehow bind her to me.
She was perfection, in my eyes at least, the only form set beneath the moon that made me weaken,
As she allowed me seclusion and bliss captured beneath her moves.
She burrows herself in the tunnels of my devotion,
As in turn I release the tension holding back the oceans and allow us both to drown into pools of saturation and fade us two into the setting skies of blue.
