The Hollow Man

no man liked his swagger  
had shoulder sliced with dagger  
no body stood in his way  
narcissist savage bragger!  
 
the apparent heartless beast  
did carry a heart  
though it mattered least  
barely a functioning part!  
 
he came across this belle  
his world turned upside down  
she doused his life of hell  
true love he somehow found!  
 
Atacama got it's rain  
the sailing looked plain  
forgot the fact of life  
It's two way not one lane!  
 
not easy ditching past  
It catches up too fast  
you took and now you give  
what's meant to everlast!  
 
he sits hollowest of men  
after a glimpse of fun  
together they were ten  
now  o minus the one!  
 
there was no poison left  
that he did not swallow  
death too left him bereft  
more than ever hollow!
