Protect My King

At times when I need the most blessings
I hope the angels watch over him while he's resting
I hope whatever God there is to keep him safe
And if there's a kingdom, God will save his place
The most selfish thing I've focused on
Sacrifice myself if any harm ever came upon
Protect my baby from the cruelties of this earth
Let him live a life that shows his worth
Gold and glitter and diamonds and love
Keep him safe if I go to fly above
Keep him strong if I'm unable to be around
And if he loses me let him please sleep sound
The pain I endured that brings me to this point
Don't let it hurt him or ever disappoint
I hope he finds a love much greater than me
And even if I drown in this world
Please show him a way to breathe
