Whatever this is.

The world spins
A flame burns
His cries send joy through the room.

They believe in him
Hold him to it
Know he'll do it

The bell rings
Eyes up
Pages turn
Stories written stories read
Etching himself into exsitence
Walking the trench following

They have faith in him
The stars, they see him in it
A bright future they create him in it

Night falls.
In the darkness he sees
Monsters that taunt
He chases unbelieving
A lone light stays on
Flickering away
The sounds that sooth the savage beasts
Keeps the nightmares away

They see him do it
Push him from it
Tell him something he wants to hear

New year pop bottles
Smoke clouds the air
Women play in his hair
The world turns
The fires burn
He can only think of what he has learned

They hope for it
Pull him to it

He goes home.
Late at night
Fighting his demons
How big they've grown.
He sits there.
No gifts for the savage beast.
He rages on.
"How pitiful how worthless"
He can't stand it
The pressure they force on him
The terror of the unknown
They words trying to drown his dreams
Having to hide himself
In the darkest corners of his heart

He looks knowing madness is in the head
Knowing he could leave himself dead
Understanding why psychologists need psychologists.
Thinking, he falls deeper
Traveling with out moving an inch.
The darkness consumes him as he sees the part of the world that society  over looks, runs from, and struggles with
He sits their with his knowledge
Thinking about it. Until it makes sense
Letting the truths set him free.
