The Storm
Our love was
Fast
Like lightening
Thundering blast
We Loved,
Under the crying skies
Our song, the rain
Covered our alibies
For me,
Grey skies were blue
My sunshine,
Was just being with you
We were the storm,
You and I
The thunder and lightening
The winds that swept by
Now, like all storms
Damage lies in our wake
We've destroyed,
Simply for destroyings sake
I am left alone in this storm
The strongest storm of all
You remain sheltered
While the skies tears, and mine, fall
Fast
Like lightening
Thundering blast
We Loved,
Under the crying skies
Our song, the rain
Covered our alibies
For me,
Grey skies were blue
My sunshine,
Was just being with you
We were the storm,
You and I
The thunder and lightening
The winds that swept by
Now, like all storms
Damage lies in our wake
We've destroyed,
Simply for destroyings sake
I am left alone in this storm
The strongest storm of all
You remain sheltered
While the skies tears, and mine, fall
