Lenin Didn't overthrow the Czar
The Russian [Communist] Revolution took place in November 1917.
But the Czar had already abdicated in March of that year.
Kerensky the Democratic Socialist had succeeded the Czar,
Yes, a Democratic Socialist had been elected
by the Duma to head a "provisional Government."
So there was no need for the Communist Revolution,
For a progressive SOCIALIST government was in power.
Kerensky wrote and passed bills for equal rights for women,
for workers' rights to organize labor unions,rights for minorities.
Russia was on it's way to becoming another Sweden,
What a glorious future lay ahead - but then Lenin ruined everything !!
By overthrowing a progressive Socialist regime in it's infancy.
What a monster!! What a back-stabbing monster Lenin was !!
Why did he overthrow a decent government, now that the evil of Czarism was gone?
Because Kerensky's democratic socialism allowed for pluralism -
many political parties competing for votes in free elections..
Whereas Lenin's socalled "scientific" socialism (what a joke) was
An anti-democratic one-party dictatorship, with no real elections.
Why did Lenin do it? Another way to answer that question:
Because Kerensky wasn't a totalitarian and Lenin was.
He wanted to control everything - a true "control freak."
So the next time you're in a conversation with a leftist
who says things like, "The Communists have made many mistakes
but at least they deserve credit for getting rid of the Czar,"
Set him straight - straighten his lying ass out.
Show him you're not as stupid as he obviously thinks you are.
Christ had Judas the traitor, and Kerensky had Lenin -
Lenin the diabolical traitor.
Kerensky and Lenin were both socialists.
So Lenin could have supported him, instead of overthrowing him.
Yes, "Lenin the Traitor" captures his essence.
His dead body lies on display in Moscow.
I'd like to drive a broomstick up his butt all the way in -
Deeper and deeper, until the tip comes out of his mouth!!
May the name of Vladimir Lenin be cursed forever more !!!

erm you answered you own question, your confusing socialism with communism...there very different things, Lenin was always a communist not a socialist.

Thanx for your interest and pov. But I'm pretty sure he called himself a socialist as well as a Communist. I mean there are different brands of socialist. There are democratic socialists - the kind in Sweden, the Fabians of England, too. Then there are the "scientific socialists" - that's what Communists claim about themselves
Lenin led the Bolsheviks who competed with the Mensheviks.Both groups were socialists.The split came in 1904 or so. While Lenin accepted the label "Communist," i don't know if the Mensheviks did.
Anyway, i think it's a real tragedy that Pres. Woodrow Wilson didn't do more to help the good socialists against the bad ones - or even the White Russians. Anyway i can see it was hard to tell who was worth supporting and who wasn't.
