Healing

                         those tears,

it happens
during commercials and
movies, listening to songs they shared,
and sometimes for no reason at all

she has no control over the emotions
that

                                       l
                                          e,
leaving her feeling helpless
and more alone,
this is the process of grieving
something she is not used too,
but then you never get used to
seeing someone you love
pass from you, dealing with
the finality,

she knows, in time it will lessen
and she'll have more scars
to show for it,
but then, that is all part
of the healing
