Why Is Nuclear War Called "The Deadly Wound Which Is Not Deadly"(The Book of Revelation,chap.13,verses 3-4)??

Because of the 1970s' doctrine of M.A.D., "Mutual Assured Destruction."
Since both sides (Russia/America) would be destroyed,
Neither side would start nuclear war - it would be suicide.
When WW3 occurs, the world will think both sides,
Russia and America, have been wiped out.
So when Russia emerges unscathed,
The world will be amazed, saying,"Who is like Russia?
Who can make war with Russia?"(Revelation 13.3-4).
How does Russia avoid being hit by our retaliatory arsenal?
M.A.D. requires that both sides leave themselves "vulnerable."
No ABMs (interceptor missiles) are supposed to be built
(Except for 100 ABMs for each side).
But Russia has built a NATIONWIDE system of thousands of ABMs,
 totally violating the 1972 ABM Treaty !!
They will shoot down our retaliatory strike, our nuclear warheads.
HOW LONG WILL RUSSIA RULE THE WORLD?
The Tribulation Period will last "three and a half years(Daniel 7.25).
But Christ said He will "shorten the days"(Matthew 24.22).
(So the "3.5 years" was NEVER the real length of the Tribulation.)

Looking for a shorter period. I found the "five months" of  "the Locusts" (Rev. 9.5,10),
This would have to be the length of the Tribulation.
For the sides of the Locusts "of iron,"  "make the sounds of chariots running to battle"(Rev 9.9).
This points to battle tanks, the modern equivalent of war chariots.
"Death will flee from people"(Rev 9.6) applies to time of occupation
after the conquest,which is what the Tribulation in Europe will be: occupation.
HOW DOES CHRIST'S SECOND COMING END THE TRIBULATION?
When Russian troops invading Israel see the Divine Light
("at night there will be light," Zechariah 14.7),
they will switch sides, a la Acts 9.3.
Then Christ sends them home "to proclaim God's glory,"
The glory they have just witnessed(Isaiah 66.19).
Revolution against Gorbachev the old Antichrist ensues !!
