The Ultimate Betrayal

She wept in the corner;
Knees pulled to her chest.
Clothes all around her,
A Heaping mess.

She huddles in the corner hoping to somehow disappear.
Her greatest fears were reality,
The Monster is near.

She cries in desperate agony,
The Devil's shadow approaches!
Towering over her prepared for a fight.

She thinks to herself,
This isn't right, this isn't just,
He's someone she was taught to trust.

She Screams,
The claws of a demon a menace bare down
He covers her mouth
To muffle her screams,
Whispers in her ear,
"Don't make a sound."

She just wants her Mommy,
She's only 7 years old.
The man was her uncle
Ugly and old.

She lays in silence until the pain is over.
This haunts her now as it will when she's older.

She wonders how long,
Till the next attack,
She swears to herself,
Next time she'll fight back.

He broke her spirit,
Her innocence is gone
This went on for way to long,
The monster,her uncle,
Body so frail;
He committed the ultimate betrayal!
