My Haunting
Your words sting like a venomous snake, poisoning my entire being sending lies pulsating through my veins.
You know just how to bite, a predator awaiting the perfect moment to strike.
You pounce like a cat injuring as you play a vicious game of mousetrap.
For so long I feared the shadows, wondering if you were waiting or hiding to bring my final despair. To cut me down and bleed me slow, sucking the only life attached to my soul.
I feared you, even your name, I find myself running toward my already dug up grave.

Your unforgiving
Oh how sad it must be, to hate so deeply. I cannot imagine the grief that must cause you, to be so selfishly.
Oh how my heart aches for you. I cannot imagine holding so much hatred towards people who've tried to love you.
It is so much more to love freely and love true than to torment yourself causing deeper more permanent wounds.
With unattainable expectations, you hold no way to pass, to only increase the rage and desire personal wrath.
Your hatred has only proven to poison yourself,
By holding onto such hate, you created your own hell, Which all...

The Race
Forest branches touch my feet, the brush I'm in is knee deep. I can't get a break everywhere I turn there seems to be eyes that glow and burn.
The Moon is my only light providing me to safety. I can hear the water running from the creek near by. I know if I can get there I might be able to hide. But every move that I make I seem to make sound. He'll hear me moving and come up around.
I try to stay still for a moment, just to hear the bush beside me make movement. All I can see are shadows from the moon shining down upon the trees creating monsters that haunt every child's...

Single mom
I wish there was a magic machine that would complete my list of unattainable expectancies.
Unfortunately it's just me, single mother of three, trying to do both jobs and acting like nothing is wrong.
It's hard, sometimes I break, the struggles of life seem to overtake.
I feel alone even though I'm not. I wish I had someone to make it stop.
Everything I do I do it for them, I wish they could see my true intent.
I prayed for years for God to set us free, the day he answered I had already stopped praying. I wasn't prepared, all we carried away from him was what we had on...

You don't have a chance! You will never win, the only thing you will have when I'm done is regrets within.

Sadness falls today, more fatalities occur. This world full of a hateful serge.
He is on his knees praying to his God, fasting for days before carrying out his call.
He cries out to his God for purpose and solution. He feels he's ready to fulfill his only conclusion. The elders agree, there is no other way. They help him prepare for his martyrdom display.
He's so young. Trained to be strong, yet deep inside he's scared and wants to go home. Alone he cries out Allah, why must this be? Do I have to fulfill this purpose you have designed for me?

We are just like Earth and hold all elements too. Swimming from the start in our mother's womb.
From the moment we enter this world, not protected by a body. A simple gasp of an invisible element, completes our true admission and intelligence.
We walk among the Earth, dirt between our toes. To stay warm we light fires using sticks and using stones.
We bathe among creatures deep within the sea. We breathe the same air that all living things breathe.

I see you, you look flawless. Media telling me your image is an inspirational conquest.
I see no blemishes, I see no scars, I only see smooth skin, I see a superstar.
Big eyes, bag free, lifted breasts, and whitened teeth. I see the media's idea of beauty. I see flat stomachs and ageless legs I see woman who have the perfect frame. Hair so Shiney styled just right. with a back side lifted high. Even your bikini line is a perfect 10, you get the looks while sitting next to Ken. Teenage girls and young woman too, design themselves to look just like you. They starve for figure and pay...

Yesterday's today
I made a mistake, why can't I move on?
Why do I sit in my past and stew over my wrongs?
I asked for forgiveness and repented in ever way, yet my past still haunts me to this very day.
Is there any way for me to forgive myself?
I keep replaying over and over in my head, what I could have done, what I should have said.
I pled with God to release my bind from the demonic presence that controls my mind.
One day, I'm happy believing in brighter days, feeling hopeful about the progress I've already made.
The next day, darkness overcomes my soul,

Pieces are scattered from the absence of what once mattered.
Surrounding my body like little dark secrets, being whispered without discretion and spoken with little words, full of deep questions.
They torment me from within my soul; Telling me my heart was never truly whole.

I was broken and ashamed full of regret and full of pain. Destroyed by his own hands and held by his very lies. I was a possession and held no value in his evil eyes.
