the difference between having money and being broke

life is not a joke

i was walking through the rain

i got drenrched and soaked

it is great to have money

but it is terrible to lose your soul

when some people have gain more

they start spending money all out of control

these days its all about clothes that they wear

blowing money on a outfit but in a month that is going to tear

why would you buy new clothes that don't last

sometimes being broke is better than having cash

i did both and i had a piece of mind being broke

when you have money more problems come to you

spending it on crazy things that you don't need

people always going somewhere spending money on drinks and weed

that is a sign of greed and i don't smoke weed becasue that is not what i need

when you get money think about your needs and not your wants

don't be making crazy decision like buying a mint coat

some people need money management to stack they cheese

i do not want to be nowhere saying i am hungry

i was the same way spending money on a girl who didn't love me

now i open my eyes and thank God i can see

being broke is my motivation to get more not less

God said take one step and he'll take the rest

not having money have you thinking about allot of things

losers be like i need big houses and diamond rings

material things don't make you a man

i put my mind to it and i do the best that i can

when i was broke i was happy thinking about allot of good things

God done bless me with my wings

problems comes if you do or you don't have

crazy people put their money in bath tubes and start taking a bath

spend it don't ball out you can't take it with cha in your grave

have fun live your life and don't let nobody stir you wrong

dont live with nobody its best to be alone

so much to learn and so much to do

being broke having a piece of mind or having money but problems along down the line

its all up to you
