Faith? I only have that when I'm troubled.

"God, save us from sin!"
We cry; Palms stretch to the sky.
Faith appears only in times of crux.

Did we not call him out in vain?
New age thoughts, more like slanders.
Bringing our father shame.

I say, do not believe,
Turn your head.
Walk away.
But do not taint the Holy name.

It infuriates me when non believers can't keep His name out of their mouths. They protest for nothing, wishing to banish my Father.
Religion is poison, but to take it out on God is another thing.
Faith and religion are seperate in my eyes.
If you wish not to believe, so be it. But don't backbite Christ.

This poem also ties in with my feelings towards those that only call upon Him when in despair. Shallow.
