It's freeing, it's fast
It gives you something to hold onto
For a moment
And then it fades and you're back
Stuck.
Where you never want to be
And you wonder what it feels like to be free
Forever.

Waning through sobriety and under the influence, the joy of the buzz, the way the mind works in feeling. The abuse is the problem and we depend on what we think is freeing, but we are free and don't really need to rely on suppresants. Nice thought out write.
