Clues?

I spent a lifetime looking for you
Among the raspberries bushes
and blueberries too
Atop the lychee tree.
Found no sign of anything
I did -
Search around for Clues....

I asked the Sparrows
if you were here
Their songs of a drifter passing
A wanderer staggering through the dusk
I searched the grounds
Found only DUST
I did -
Search around for Clues....

I pursued until pursued no more
I will be tattered and torn and obviously old
for than I know I had given my all
this soldier tired
this body ravaged with time
Prepared for my fall
I did -
Search around for Clues....

Took only my last breathe to finally see
the last clue I was searching for was deep within me
and once I had found you I finally know
the last clue was the beginning of never letting GO.......
