nocturne ~ {ii}

his mouth makes
beautiful
[&] unfamiliar shapes
against
the killing jar ~
... i press my fingers
to
moon orchid insinuations
of his breath
[pray for warmth
during distorted nights]
through glass, rippled
by living stones ...
*
i horde words
in the withered mouths
of
snap dragon skulls,
watch aeolian warmth
puff wishes from
marsecent husks
[&] carry them to
the heart-of-flame blue
of paper lanterns
[tongue tied
like cherry stems] ...
... the stardust cremains
of cerus kisses
fleetingly urge to leave
indelible impressions
on the passage
of time
in shadow cast
across clock flowers
& i lose myself
in the weightlessness
of windblown vespers
