I Gave You, The Best Part Of Me

I close my eyes and
kissed you with passion,
I touched you with

forgiveness, I even let you
hold my hand when I stand.

Still alart, to you're
movement, I'll send love
you're way daily,
making you feel happy.

My love was giving
you security,
protecting you're safety,

I gave you, the best part of
me, but you still took
me for granted.

There's no words that you
can put together nicely,
to keep me wanting you,
to even think we're true.

You're just a fool, playing
a game that makes you
lose, keeping you lost, so
far from my heart.

So close to the edge,
don't look down!

I gave my all, I fight
to watch you stand tall,
but all you did was

push me even harder
to watch me crumble.

So I stumble and fell,
hoping you'll catch me
before I landed,

but you stood there
and took a bow.

I simply gave you the
best part of me,
and you just looked me
deeply into my eyes

and you said, don't trust
to easily, and then you
waved goodbye.
