Sadness Within

Suppose I suppress this sadness within
Steadily succumb to a stop where I send for a saviour
Because I’m stuck in this pit where I’ll sit
And search myself because I seem
To find no happiness in this emptiness
Just filled with blackness
I’m a mess is it a test?
This isn’t just it must be a bust
Because I’m too busy seeking for bliss
But I’m far away so I’ll sit and slit my wrist
While seeing inside me besides me
There’s nothing so I’ll just subside and reside
In this hollowness where I’ll slowly settle
In this sand where I’ll stand with no resistance
Because what’s the use? This abuse is persistent
And I refuse to be amused by these bruises it confuses
I’m about to blow! But I’ll try to diffuse
And I’m thinking I’m sinking, life flashes without even blinking
I’m falling in the sea where I’ll see no more sun rise
And my mum won’t see her son rise
Coz I’ve set and I’m set to finish this set
Somehow escape out of this space so I can end this race
And be safe from the sorrows of this horror that swallows me
Take my head out of this gallows so I don’t wallow around headless
And I’m restless I’m soulless to suppose this stemmed from sadness
It’s madness I need air so I’ll open this sun screen before I scream
And cause a scene because I’ve seen Satan will hasten to be hot
On my scent because I’ll be sent to the end to sit in my cell
To sell myself to escape from this hell from this sadness this madness
