mommy is there
lying on my pillow
the sound of rain drops
falling upon the window
rolling down
as the tears roll down my cheeks
I sob
deep shoulders shuttering
as a mom your told you have to be strong hold it together for your babies
when your scared
you get bad news don't let it show through
put my babies to bed
then I fall apart
bad news
a surgery
my world fell apart but I held a smile
as I walked with my little girl in hand
mommy's have to be strong
hold it together act like nothing is wrong
even if deep inside your screaming crying and scared
don't show it let your babies know mommy is there.

Absolutely LOVE this poem Amari!! Sooo much emotion and the way you played the "Mommy feelings" and true feelings off one another was really, really well done. Definite eye watering confessional work here, loved it all the way through.
