When I awoke I thought I was still in a dream
Because I laid eyes on the most beautiful thing ide ever seen
Fixated and fascinated I cast a smile your way
When them eyes looked back and smiled at me I thought it was my lucky day
I started to panic and couldn't think
Should I ask her if she wants a drink
Then in a heartbeat she'd gone away
I was left with everything I didn't say
Another love story never to be told
Another regret leaving me cold
